(Update) Runaway Akira Cordeiro Located

Hawai‘i Island police report that 14-year-old Akira Cordeiro, who was previously reported as a runaway, was located in Kea‘au on Monday, August 24, 2026, in good health.

The Hawai‘i Police Department thanks the public for their assistance in this case.
