Now Hawaii County residents and visitors can receive emergency notifications from one source! Hawaii Police Department’s emergency notifications, previously under Nixle will now be located on Everbridge under Civil Defense. By signing up for Hawaii Police Department notifications, you can be notified of neighborhood police activity, runaways, missing persons, and more. You will receive time-sensitive messages in any communication media you specify, such as your home, mobile, and business phones, email addresses, text messages, and more. You pick where, you pick how.

Everbridge does not charge citizens for this service but message and data rates may apply. Message frequency may be periodic and depends on account settings. AT&T, T-Mobile®, Sprint, Verizon Wireless and most other carriers are supported.
