(Update) Police Seeking Missing and Endangered Juvenile Kawelo Lancaster

Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 14-year-old Kawelo Lancaster, who was initially reported as a runaway and is considered a missing and endangered juvenile due to concerns for his well-being and safety. 

Lancaster was last seen on Pikake Street in the Fern Acres subdivision in Mountain View on Monday, May 12, 2025, at 8:45 p.m., wearing a black t-shirt and black shorts.

He is described as having a tan complexion and thin build, about 5 feet 7 inches tall, 145 pounds, with short, curly black hair and brown eyes. He also has a mole on the left side of his face near his left eye.
