Seven Fugitives Arrested During Multi-Agency Warrant Sweep  

The Hawai‘i Police Department, in collaboration with county, state, and federal law enforcement partners, conducted an islandwide warrant sweep Sept. 14-18, 2026, resulting in the arrest of multiple wanted individuals wanted on outstanding warrants and other offenses. Participating agencies included the United States Marshals Service Hawai‘i Fugitive Task Force, the State of Hawai‘i Department of Law Enforcement’s Sheriff Division, Honolulu Police Department, and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI). During the operation, officers recovered numerous firearms and suspected illegal narcotics.

Individuals targeted during the warrant sweep included wanted subjects known to be armed and dangerous with histories involving drug-related offenses, violent offenses, and other criminal activity.  

The following individuals were arrested and charged in East Hawai‘i, for various offenses:

Arrests / Bail:

Shilo Brent, age 49, of Volcano

• Probation – first-degree criminal property damage / first-degree assault law enforcement officer: $25,000
• Probation – first-degree unauthorized control of a propelled vehicle(auto theft): $10,000
• Probation – second-degree bail jumping: $10,000
• Criminal Contempt – no motor vehicle insurance: $500
• Total: $45,500

Daniel Brooks, age 34, of Kea‘au

• Probation Revocation – fourth-degree sexual assault: $5,000
• Probation Revocation – fourth-degree sexual assault: $5,000
• Five counts Sex Offender: failure to comply: $50,000
• Total: $60,000

Noah Simeona, age 35, of Hilo

• DAG Violation – second-degree promoting a dangerous drug / third-degree promoting a dangerous drug: $25,000
• Contempt – Driving without a license / no motor vehicle insurance: $300
• Total: $25,300

Tiffany Faris-Saffrey-McCandless, age 28, of Pāhoa

• Probation – first-degree criminal property damage: $10,000
• Probation – first-degree criminal property damage: $10,000
• Total: $20,000

Heather Parrish, age 46, of Kea‘au

• Contempt – fourth-degree theft: $25
• Failure to appear: $50
• Additionally arrested for second-degree promoting a dangerous drug after officers executed a search warrant and recovered suspected methamphetamine and a Remington Model 788 bolt-action rifle.
• Documented bail: $75

Megan Kaminski, age 38, of Pāhoa

• Conditions of release on bail, own recognizance /supervised release – third-degree promoting a dangerous drug: $3,000

Deisha Gonsalves, age 35, of Mountain View

• Probation – third-degree promoting a dangerous drug: $5,000

Current documented bail total: $158,875.
