Public Invited to June Coffee With a Cop Events in Kona, Waikoloa, and Hāwī

Uncle Kimo's Coffee With a Cop

As part of their ongoing community outreach to listen to community members, Hawai‘i Police Department is holding six Coffee With a Cop events in west Hawai‘i from Hāwī to Kona during June in order for the public can get to know their district police officers.

These popular events are intentionally informal with no agenda. Topics of conversation can range from sharing personal stories to discussing neighborhood issues.

Stop by and get to know your district and Community Policing Officers over a cup of coffee!

The Area II Community Policing Coffee with a Cop events will take place on the following dates:

  • Thursday, June 12,from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., at Kona Heaven Coffee, in the Coconut Grove Shopping Center, 75-5805 Ali‘i Drive, Kailua-Kona.
  • Friday, June 13, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., at the Kona Mountain Coffee Co., 73-4038 Hulikoa Drive, Kailua-Kona.
  • Tuesday, June 17, 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Kohala Coffee Mill, 53-3412 Akoni Pule Highway, Hāwī.
  • Wednesday, June 18, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., at Uncle Kimo’s Coffee Shop, next to the Hōlualoa Garden & Kitchen Restaurant, 76-5897 Kona Belt Road, Hōlualoa.
  • Thursday, June 19, from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., Kohala Coffee Company, 68-1820 Waikoloa Road, Unit 901, Waikoloa Village.
  • Friday, June 20, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., at Kona Coffee & Tea, in the Kona Coast Shopping Center, 74-5588 Palani Road, Kailua-Kona.
