Police Seeking Runaway Makoa Gonsalves

Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 15-year-old Makoa Gonsalves, who was reported as a runaway.
He was last seen in the Honoka‘a area on Thursday June 12, 2025, around 11:00 a.m., wearing an unknown-colored shirt and shorts, camouflage Crocs, and carrying a red backpack.
He is described as Portuguese with a thin build, about 5 feet 8 inches tall, 150 pounds, with short black hair with a fade and brown eyes.
Police ask anyone with information on Gonsalves’ whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.
