Hawai’i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 16-year-old Erlyen Sangau who was reported as a runaway.

Hawai’i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 16-year-old Erlyen Sangau who was reported as a runaway.

Sangau was last seen on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. on Leila Road in Volcano wearing a pink t-shirt and black skirt with floral designs.

She is described as having a tan complexion and thin build, about 5 feet 7 inches tall, 90 pounds, with black braided shoulder length hair and brown eyes.

Police ask anyone with information on Sangau’s whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.
