Police Seeking Missing Woman and Her Daughter

The Hawai‘i Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in locating 38-year-old Emerald Marquez, of Pāhoa, and her two-year-old daughter Nuvia Marquez, who were reported missing. Emerald Marquez is considered endangered as she has a medical condition.

Emerald Marquez is described as Pacific Islander with a medium complexion, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 120 pounds, with straight black hair and brown eyes. Nuvia Marquez has brown hair and eyes. The pair were last seen at a residence on Opae Street in the Hawaiian Beaches subdivision around 3 a.m. on Saturday, August 16, 2025.

Police ask that anyone with information on their whereabouts to please call 911 or the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.
