Hawaiʻi Island police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating 25-year-old Kawika Makahanaloa of Captain Cook, who was reported missing on Saturday, May 10, 2025.

Makahanaloa was last seen on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at 4:00 p.m., on the 78-6700 block of Makolea Street in Kailua-Kona wearing a black hat, black shirt and black pants. He is described as Hawaiian with a brown complexion, 5 feet 5 inches tall, 160 pounds, with short black hair and brown eyes.
