Police Searching for Missing Endangered Ocean View Woman Shanera Echols

Missing woman Shanera Echols

Hawaiʻi Island police are searching for 43-year-old Shanera Echols of Ocean View who was reported missing on March 27, 2025. Echols is considered endangered because she needs medication due to a medical condition.

She was last seen leaving her residence on the 92-2100 block of Hukilau Drive in the Hawaii Ocean View Estates subdivision on Wednesday afternoon, March 26, wearing a green short-sleeve shirt, blue denim jeans, and tan colored shoes.

Echols is described as having a light skin complexion, 5 feet 5 inches tall, 260 pounds, with brown shoulder-length hair and brown eyes.
