Police Request Public’s Assistance in Identifying Hilo Burglary Suspect

Hawai’i Island police are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect in a Hilo burglary who was captured on video surveillance removing two bicycles. 

The burglary occurred on Friday, February 21, 2025, at approximately 7:30 a.m., at a business located on the 400 block of Kalanianaole Street in Hilo. 

Police ask anyone who may be able to identify the man captured in the photos or who may have information relative to this case to contact Detective Michael Matsumura of the Area I Criminal Investigation Section at (808) 961- 2386 or via email at Michael.Matsumura@hawaiicounty.gov, or the police departments non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.
