Police Renew Request for Leads for Missing Pāhoa Man Kelly Gravitt

Hawai’i Island police are renewing their request for any information regarding the disappearance of 37-year-old Kelly Gravitt of Pāhoa. Gravitt is a combat-wounded Army veteran and Purple Heart recipient. He is described as Caucasian, 6 feet tall, 180 pounds, with brown hair, blue eyes, and a thick auburn beard. Gravitt has numerous tattoos and distinct scars on his lower legs from prior injuries.
Gravitt was last seen between May 12, and May 14, 2023, in the area of Pāhoa. He is known to frequent Kalapana, specifically the Sea View lawn, Kahena Beach, and Uncle Roberts area.
Hawai‘i Police Department personnel have conducted countless interviews, numerous follow-ups, and continue to actively investigate Gravitt’s 2023 disappearance. His family is deeply concerned for his wellbeing and politely request that any information about Gravitt be forwarded to investigators.
