Police Charge Hilo Man With Multiple Firearms and Narcotics Offenses

Hawai‘i Island police have arrested and charged 32-year-old Steven Campos of Hilo with multiple firearms and narcotics offenses stemming from an investigation at a Kona hotel.
On Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at approximately 12:42 a.m., Kona patrol officers responded to a hotel in the 75-5600 block of Palani Road following a report involving possible child neglect.
