Kona Community Policing Hosting 1st Annual HI-PAL Keiki Bowling May 8

Hawai‘i Police Department’s Kona Community Policing Section in collaboration with KBXtreme, invites keiki and their families to attend the 1st Annual HI-PAL Keiki Bowling event on Friday, May 8, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at KBXtreme, 75-5591 Palani Road in Kailua-Kona.
This free, family-friendly event is designed to provide a fun and welcoming environment where youth can enjoy bowling while building positive connections with Hawai‘i Police Department officers. The event aims to foster community engagement, strengthen relationships, and promote positive interactions between law enforcement and local families.
The event is open to youth ages 17 and under.
HI-PAL is a Hawai‘i Police Department program in which police officers interact with youth in various activities and act as mentors. These positive connections help encourage teamwork, citizenship, responsibility, and builds trust between youth and law enforcement.
The Hawai‘i Police Department encourages families to take part in this exciting opportunity for keiki to have fun, meet their local officers, and enjoy a positive community experience.
Space may be limited, and advance registration is encouraged. To sign up or obtain more information, please contact Officer Leonard Warren at leonard.warren@hawaiipolice.gov.
