Ali‘i Drive Temporary Road Closure for Traffic Investigation

Ali’i Drive between Kahaalu‘u Beach Park and Saint Peter’s Church will be temporarily closed on Thursday, Sept. 30, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. while Hawai‘i Police Department personnel conduct a follow-up investigation related to a recent fatal traffic collision that occurred in the area.

Motorists are advised to expect traffic delays and are encouraged to seek alternate routes if possible. Police officers will be on scene to assist with traffic control and public safety during the investigation.

The Hawaiʻi Police Department appreciates the public’s patience, understanding, and assistance as investigators continue their efforts in this matter.
