Two Coffee With a Cop Events in Hilo on Oct. 1
The Hawai‘i Police Department’ Hilo Community Policing Section is holding two Coffee With a Cop events on Thursday, Oct. 1, 2026, in Hilo in honor of International Coffee Day.
Both events will be held from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the following locations:
- Big Island Roasters, 76 Kalanianaole Ave.
- Starbucks Puainako, across from Macy’s, 111 Puainako Street.
These popular events are intentionally informal with no agenda. Topics of conversation can range from sharing personal stories to discussing neighborhood issues.
Stop by and get to know your district and community policing officers over a cup of coffee!
For those unable to attend Thursday’s events, the department will hold several Coffee With a Cop events across the island on Wednesday, Oct. 7, in honor of the 10th annual national Coffee With a Cop Day, with locations and times to be announced later this week.
