Police Seeking Runaway Akira Cordeiro

Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 14-year-old Akira Cordeiro of Pāhoa, who was reported as a runaway.
Akira was last seen on Vista Drive in the Ainaloa subdivision, on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., wearing a red athletic jersey and stretch material shorts.
She is described as a Caucasian female with a fair complexion, medium build, about 5 feet 3 inches tall, 130 pounds, with brown hair and eyes.
