Two Coffee With a Cop Events in Kona Postponed
The Hawai‘i Police Department’s Kona Community Policing Section has postponed two Coffee With a Cop events scheduled for this week in West Hawai‘i as officers focus their efforts on Hurricane Lala recovery operations and the department’s “Fill a Cruiser” Kōkua events.
The events, originally scheduled for Wednesday, August 19, at Caffé Florian, 81-6637 Hawaii Belt Road in Kealakekua, and Thursday, August 20, at Kona Coffee & Tea in the Kona Coast Shopping Center, 74-5588 Palani Road, in Kailua-Kona, will be rescheduled at a later date.
Additional information, including the new dates and times, will be announced once they are confirmed.
The Hawai‘i Police Department appreciates the community’s understanding and continued support as officers and community partners work to assist individuals and families affected by Hurricane Lala.
