Police Update Status of Previously Reported Missing Persons

The Hawaiʻi Police Department is providing an update regarding several previously reported missing persons cases.

During a recent review of department records, it was determined that 22 individuals who had previously been reported missing have since been located. Many of the individuals were found in other areas of Hawaiʻi Island or elsewhere in the state, which contributed to delays in updating the status of these cases. The department is releasing this information to ensure its public records are current and accurate.

The following individuals have been located:

19-080856           Brian Larimore, located 10/13/19 Kailua-Kona.

18-026186           Isaiah Fernandez, located 2/1/19 in Hilo.

24-010201           Joseph Madeiros, located 3/6/24 in Nevada.

24-034084           Debbie Marie, located 4/29/24 in Florida.

23-076935           Keona Taniguchi, located 2/2/24 in Kea‘au.

24-039959           Sheri Jo Bowers, located 5/1/24 in Kailua-Kona.

24-039368           David Taylor, located 6/25/24 in Hilo.

24-047048           Chael Aku, located 7/15/24 in Hilo.

24-035446           Charles Poole, located 5/12/25 in Honolulu.

24-063296           Jenny Partin, located 8/15/24 in Volcano.

24-066566           Anthony Moniz, 7/23/24 in Pāhoa.

25-023378           Larry Lancanaria, located 3/13/25 on Oahu.

25-042052           Thomas Delima Jr., located 5/9/25 in Kealakekua.

25-042620           Kawika Makahanaloa, located 6/10/25 in Kealakekua. (Deceased in fire, manner of death ruled accidental.)
