Police Seeking Missing and Endangered Ocean View Man Douglas Harper

Hawaiʻi Island police are searching for 82-year-old Douglas Harper of Ocean View who was reported missing.

He was last seen walking in the area of Lotus Blossom Lane and Mamalahoa Highway in the Hawaii Ocean View Estates subdivision at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday March 22, 2026, wearing a light brown long-sleeved shirt, blue jeans, and black shoes.

Harper is described as having a light complexion, 6 feet 1 inch tall, 150 pounds, with white hair and brown eyes.
