16-year-old Kennedy Van Cleave, who was reported as a runaway.

Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 16-year-old Kennedy Van Cleave, who was reported as a runaway.

Van Cleave left a residence within the 64-5000 block of Kipahele Street in the Waimea area on Tuesday, March 17, 2026,  wearing a black hoodie with white graphics, black and red plaid flannel pants, and white shoes.

She is described as Caucasian with a fair complexion, 5 feet 4 inches tall, 120 pounds, with medium length straight brown hair and green eyes. Van Cleave is known to frequent the Kona area.

Police ask anyone with information on Van Cleave’s whereabouts to please call the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.
