15-year-old runaway Sophia Nihipali-Moniz is described as Hawaiian/Filipino with a medium brown complexion, 5 feet 4 inches tall, 119 pounds, with medium length black hair and brown eyes.

Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 15-year-old Sophia Nihipali-Moniz, who was reported as a runaway.

Napoleon was last seen near the intersection of Highway 130 and Highway 132 on Thursday, Jan. 29, 2026 at 4:18 pm.

She is described as Hawaiian/Filipino with a medium brown complexion, 5 feet 4 inches tall, 119 pounds, with medium length black hair and brown eyes.

Police ask anyone who may have information on Nihipali-Moniz’s whereabouts to please contact the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.
