Police Seek Public’s Assistance in Identifying Person of Interest in South Kohala Theft Investigation

Hawaii Island Police are asking for the public’s assistance with identifying a person of interest in a cellular phone theft and identity theft investigation that was reported in the South Kohala District on July 23, 2025.

He is described as a Caucasian male, between 5-feet 9-inches and 5-feet 10-inches tall, weighing 175 pounds, with long curly dark hair with a dark beard, wearing a blue t-shirt, brown shorts, black shoes, and carrying a large backpack.
