Public Invited to Six Coffee With a Cop Events in West Hawai‘i During August

As part of their ongoing community outreach to listen to community members, Hawai‘i Police Department is holding six Coffee With a Cop events in west Hawai‘i from Holualua to Kapaʻau during July in order for the public can get to know their district police officers.
These popular events are intentionally informal with no agenda. Topics of conversation can range from sharing personal stories to discussing neighborhood issues.
Stop by and get to know your district and Community Policing Officers over a cup of coffee!
The Area II Community Policing Coffee with a Cop events will take place on the following dates:
- Tuesday, August 5, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., Queen’s Marketplace, Island Gourmet Market, 69-201 Waikoloa Beach Drive, #201, Waikoloa.
- Wednesday, August 13, 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Pomaika‘i Café, 54-3885 Akoni Pule Highway, Kapaʻau.
- Wednesday, August 13,from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., at Kona Heaven Coffee, in the Coconut Grove Shopping Center, 75-5805 Ali‘i Drive, Kailua-Kona.
- Thursday, August 14,from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., at the Kona Mountain Coffee Co., 73-4038 Hulikoa Drive, Kailua-Kona.
- Wednesday, August 20, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., at Uncle Kimo’s Coffee Shop, next to the Hōlualoa Garden & Kitchen Restaurant, 76-5897 Kona Belt Road, Hōlualoa.
- Friday, August 22, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., at Kona Coffee & Tea, in the Kona Coast Shopping Center, 74-5588 Palani Road, Kailua-Kona.
