Police Seeking Suspect in Terroristic Threatening Incident in Waimea

Hawai‘i Island police are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a person of interest in a terroristic threatening investigation stemming from an incident that took place on June 25, 2025, in Waimea.
The image shown was captured by the other involved party while at the Gilbert Kahele Recreation Area located on Daniel K. Inouye Highway.
The individual is described as a local man in his early to mid-20s, with a thin build and clean shaven.
