(Update) Identify Witness in South Kohala Assault Investigation

Hawaiʻi Island police have identified the male witness that was previously wanted for questioning in connection with an ongoing assault investigation that occurred on Friday, June 13, 2025, in the South Kohala district.

Police were able to identify the man with help from the public following a request for assistance, earlier today, Thursday, June 25, 2025.

A detective from the Area II Juvenile Aid Section is continuing this investigation, and would like to thank the public for their assistance.
