Police Seeking Runaway Kawelo Lancaster

Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 14-year-old Kawelo Lancaster who was reported as a runaway.

Lancaster was last seen on Pikake Street in the Fern Acres Subdivision in Mountain View on Monday May 5, 2025, at approximately 6:00 p.m. He was last wearing a black t-shirt and light-colored shorts.

He is described as having a tan complexion, a thin-build, about 5-feet 7-inches tall, 145 pounds, with short curly black hair and brown eyes. He also has a mole on the left side of his face near his left eye.

The image of the minor has been withheld, as parental consent for its use was not granted.

Police ask anyone with information on Lancaster’s whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.
