DESCRIPTION:The Kona Community Policing Section and HI-PAL (Hawai‘i Police Activities League)\, in collaboration with the Keauhou Shopping Center\, will host a Kona HI-PAL Keiki Easter Egg Decorating Contest on Thursday\, April 2\, 2026\, from 4:00–6:00 p.m. in the center events courtyard. \nKeiki ages 17 and under are encouraged to sign up and participate in this enjoyable\, family-friendly event. Participants will have the opportunity to decorate eggs using a variety of creative materials and showcase their artistic talents. SUMMARY:Puna Kupuna Watch Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Hawaiʻi Police Department’s Puna Community Policing Section will hold its first-ever Puna Kūpuna Watch meeting on Thursday\, April 9\, 2026\, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Pāhoa Senior Center\, 15-3016 Kauhale Street\, in Pāhoa. \nKupuna Watch is a free monthly outreach program designed to promote safety awareness\, strengthen communication between police and residents\, and support efforts to keep neighborhoods safe\, particularly for seniors.
